The most important part of a feedmill is the dosing program. This program will provide accurate dosing of the formula ingredients. Important for the feedmill operation because 70 to 80% of the feedmill cost is of the raw material, so efficient use is of the highest importance. The data collected will be used for the accounting department. Also, or even more important for the customers because they expect the feed they are buying has all the correct ingredients in the accurate amounts. The dosing program provide security and data so each material and step of dosing can be traced. Minimum requirement in each feedmill is the dosing automation.
